Steven Carrero popularly known as _iamcrypto, IAmCrypto, and KingNyRican was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, but raised in New York City. I spent my whole adult life in the United States Air Force. After 20+ years in the military I am now a retired Air Force Veteran. I am currently living in New Jersey with my wife, four kids, and two dachshund pups. My passion has always been gaming, I remember my first gaming system, an Atari. After that I have had every gaming system known to men, my professional gaming career started with Tekken Tag tournaments, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and Socom Navy Seals competitions. Once I started playing my first MMORPG “Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game,” Final Fantasy 11 online it was over for me, my outdoor time reminisced. I spent hours and hours of practice to enhance my gaming skills. Being in the military really slowed me down in competitions, now I spend my time playing Apex Legends and Overwatch. I tried streaming and Tik Tok for a bit but the military had an issue with it and ordered me to stop because I had a big following online, my gaming group grew to 80 thousand at one point. I had a lot of spare time and I have always enjoyed drawing and writing. I gave creating my own books a chance, now I have three self-published books, “Lords of the Gifted” and “Mommy am I,” “The Adventures of Trez: Lost Dino“ located all on Amazon Books. I design, draw and write all my books. When I am not writing, drawing, or gaming you can find me researching Crypto, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) and Running my Facebook gaming group.
