Dylan Leonte is a metal musician who stands out in the industry with the type of music videos he makes. Dylans employs tons of creativity in his work to develop videos that bring awareness to serious topics like teen suicide and domestic abuse. Dylan points out that metal targets people who are going through tough moments in life and need an outlet to express their emotions. It’s an electrifying and thrilling music genre that allows you to scream along with the song, jump into a mosh pit at one of his band’s shows, or crowd surf.

“Either way, it’s all a good way to let it out and have fun. And I enjoy making a positive impact on somebody else’s life. I believe my ultimate goal is to make other people’s lives better, and that can be through music, or even making people laugh at my videos with some of my pranks and gaming pages too,” elaborates Dylan.

Dylan started in the entertainment industry at a very young age. He made his first TV appearance at 12 in “The Big 4-0,” a show based around his family and his mother turning 40. Dylan went on to feature in the film She’s a Fox with actress Hailee Steinfeld and the show “Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers.” At the same time, Dylan leveraged the opportunities to promote his band Dylan ‘N’ Alice.

Dylan later linked with Nelkboys after contacting Kyle Forgeard and Jesse Sebastiani, who were already part of the group. He was part of the team from 2014 to 2017, a period through which they shot about 30 videos. “Coke Pranks on Cops” is one of their most viral videos that has gained over 115 million views on social media. An intelligent artist, Dylan was also quick to leverage the new fan base and create more new music with his band.

Being a classic metal band, Dylan’ N’ Alice attracted the attention of Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé’s father and former manager. The band eventually released their most popular song and music video, “Lonely Hunter,” a domestic abuse awareness and prevention video that has amassed over a million views on YouTube.

Dylan’s most significant challenge was being involved in a car accident that left him in a wheelchair for two months and on crutches for an additional three months. Dylan managed to keep the show going despite the injuries, including having his band perform live.

Dylan now believes that you only have one life, so live it to the fullest and be kind to others. His advice is to also avoid being a pushover because the less you care about others’ thoughts, the better. He believes that your life becomes a lot more fun once you accomplish that. So, cut out the toxic people who may surround you; they’ll eventually drain you. Be your true self unapologetically, and try to be the best version of yourself each day. Tackle the small goals first; it’ll add up. Chances are, you know exactly what you need to do better. So set a game plan, and do it. Whether it’s career-wise, spiritually, or anything else in life, the same rules apply because you’ll reach your goals little by little.
