Producer Mr. Wilson On The Beat Lands A Top 40 Radio Hit With “Aqu@riu$ – U My Bae”

By  |
Music producer Jeremy Wilson aka Mr. Wilson On The Beat has been on a hot streak these past few years, previously charting on Apple Music with Sy Ari Da Kid and getting a record placed with Jim Jones, he recently started gaining momentum on the iHeartradio HipHop charts with “U My Bae” by Aqu@riu$, peaking at #38 so far. He co-produced it with his production partner Zavier, one listen to the song and it’s easy to see why it’s spinning on the radio, it’s catchy hook, melodic undertones & hard hitting bass keep the vibes going.
A source close to Mr. Wilson says he originally planned on targeting a major artist such as Chris Brown to get on the track but when he heard what Aqu@riu$ had done to it he gave it a green light and Aqu@riu$ ran with it. “This shows the importance of producers working with artists that are within their reach, too many times as producers we try to get the biggest placement & we miss opportunities with artists right in our face” said MB Salone (source)
It seems like the producer has a lot to look forward to this year. Him and his production group The Wavgodz have been experimenting with different genres. They have placements with Kap G with the “Pesos” and a rising Atlanta artist who goes by the name RX Pesos with the unreleased song titled “Ocho Cinco.” Mr Wilson has recently relocated from Atlanta to the LA area and has been seen in some popular studios getting his beats the recognition they deserve. 1 of his latest collabs is a song titled “Never Let Up” for Grammy nominated producer 3D Villains featuring Grand Hustles artist Translee.
