Sharavia LaTrelle Smith known as “Jada Raye” is a self-proclaimed musician from Wilmington, North Carolina. The 28-year-old musician has always found lyricism as her first love. Her passion for music was instilled at a young age with freestyling being one of her strengths. From the age of 19, she started her arguably undefeated career in battle rap and continued to improve lyrically on her transitioned bars and delivery.

Versatility for songwriting has always been a priority for Jada Raye so she does not limit herself to one genre. The multi-talented musician also enjoys writing R&B, POP, Rap and Soft-rock. Some of her musical influences include hometown native J.Cole, Mary J. Blige and Chris Brown. She also references H.E.R, 6lack and Brent Faiyaz.

Jada Raye describes herself as an “open book” and often expresses her life through her music. In 2020, she released 2 R&B projects titled “Sarah Tonen and Kendall Diary” which emphasized challenging moments Jada Raye faced in her personal relationships and traumatic experiences. The project received positive reviews from many of her critics, peers, and supporters. However, it does not stop there. Jada Raye says she “just getting started” and has a lot more in store encourages the world to “get ready for more”.
