Tifa Unveils Captivating New Music Video Of Her Single ‘Say Yes’ in Collaboration with Legendary Dancehall Icon Kemar McGregor

Dancehall sensation Tifa has unleashed her latest masterpiece, the scintillating single ‘Say Yes,’ in a groundbreaking collaboration with legendary Billboard charting producer Kemar McGregor.

Hailing from the upscale Graham Heights community of Kingston 8, Tifa’s musical journey has been shaped by a unique life story. After her parents’ separation, she found herself residing in the heart of Kingston’s commercial district on Duke Street, later moving in with former Ms Jamaica World beauty queen Joan McDonald following her grandmother’s passing.

Throughout her life, Tifa has drawn strength from her mother, who has played a pivotal role in her upbringing. Her early interest in music was nurtured by her stepfather, the renowned music producer Garfield ‘Sampalue’ Phillips.

Tifa’s remarkable career includes significant endorsements, such as her role as Brand Diva for NUVO, the world’s first sparkling liqueur, and her current ambassadorship for telecommunications giant Digicel and Bigga Sof Drink. Expanding her brand, she has ventured into merchandising with the release of her signature headphone line in collaboration with Sound is Genius (SIG), known as the ‘Tifa SIG’ line.

In a strategic move to elevate her celebrity status, Tifa joined forces with Island Kings Records, a North America-based independent label. This collaboration resulted in the hit single “Bak it Up,” which gained mainstream recognition and peaked inside the Top 20 of the Billboard Twitter Trending 140 Chart in late 2014.

The year 2024 kicked off with a flurry of activity for Tifa, as she dropped three impactful singles. “Doh Real,” a message to her critics produced by Celtic 222, and the taunting dancehall ballad “Big Head Boy,” produced by Bob Klean for Klean Entertainment, garnered significant attention on social media and from disc jockeys.

Building on this momentum, Tifa has just released her third and highly anticipated single, “Say Yes,” produced by the Billboard King himself, Kemar McGregor. The track pays homage to Dave Kelly with its popular beat remake, creating a buzz on social media. Positioned as the perfect dancehall anthem, “Say Yes” sets the stage for more exciting releases, including international collaborations slated for 2024.
