Kendrick Sampson, who many of us know from Issa Rae’s Insecure, is back on the screen as Etha, this time in a picture perfect relationship with Vanessa. He is the father of a rambunctious teenager and together they venture to Tiffany’s to pick out the ring that he plans to propose with on Christmas. Life in NYC is never simple as a chance encounter with a rude unknown man turns into the moment where life changes dramatically for them both. Unbeknownst to Ethan, Gary is also at the store to buy a gift for his longtime girlfriend Rachael played by Zoey Deutch. When a simple mix-up of gifts causes all of their paths to cross, it sets off a series of twists and unexpected discoveries that lead them to where they’re truly meant to be. Because love–like life–is full of surprises, in the holiday romance Something from Tiffany’s.

Produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren, I instantly remembered Reese’s Sweet Home Alabama moment in Tiffany’s and wondered if that is what inspired her to be involved.
