FollowJoJoe Is An Artist You Need To Know
San Diego hip-hop culture continues to thrive as it emerges from the shadows of LA and The Bay. Meet FollowJoJoe, one of the hardest workers in the music industry right now, releasing video after video and single after single to keep his name on the streets. He made his formal debut with a video for his hit song “Ketchup,” and hasn’t looked back since. Now, in 2022, he claims to have a strategy and a vision, and that “nothing will stop [him] from achieving it.”
FollowJoJoe drops bars within a stop sign made entirely of candles, producing one lit image, which was photographed and directed by Nick Rodriguez, his right-hand man and notable film director. This was only one example of FollowJoJoe rising to popularity and establishing his own legacy. His talent and reputation speak for itself, and he is recognized for completing projects on time. Songs like “Ketchup” and “Daygo Nights,” for example, are set in his hometown and stay loyal to FollowJoJoe’s characteristic street styles, this time including the best of the West Coast for the head-bobbing hook. His songs depict the raw and often humorous facts of his existence.
