IZI E Is an Inspiration

Ian Zefre Isreal, better known as IZI E, was born, and raised in between the country and the city in Sandy Spring, Maryland. Growing up IZI E had a difficult life and didn’t have much. His mother had 2 jobs and always worked hard to provide for him which lit a fire under him. IZI E started singing when he was just 4 years old in the church where he continued to spend most of his childhood performing.

As he moved into school, he started to learn how to play instruments and always worked to learn more about music. Ever since he can remember he has been in love with music which is what drove this passion. He remembered first being introduced to music when his mother would have it on the radio or MTV which showed him how powerful music can be and he was instantly hooked. When he became of age, he turned his passion into a career so he would be able to do what he loves and provide for his family. His career did not come without struggles, however. His biggest challenge was growing up in poverty and having to hide his pain and try to keep himself positive. Watching himself and his mother struggle was very difficult for IZI E and if it wasn’t for his talent for music, he may still be in that same place today.

Luckily, he has been able to become successful in his career including getting the opportunity to perform in front of many of his fans. IZI E released his first album “Thoughts to Myself” which is about reinventing his style and showcasing his versatility as an artist. IZI E has a lot coming out this upcoming year you will not want to miss.
