Is Famoe The Next Hip Hop Game Changer?

By  |

When Fameo’s career in entertainment began in 2001, nobody ever envisioned that this ‘mustard seed’ would ever grow to become a huge tree of significance.

During that same year, Fameo, whose original name is Fabiano Montesano, joined a music video clip contest by MTV Germany and qualified for the finals.

He joined another group performing his cover of a song sung by an American hip-hop rapper and singer, Nelly. That is how he began his disruptive journey in rap.

Born of Italian parents, this artist has since made headlines globally, having performed in many nations, including Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, UK, and the USA. This singing passion that began at the age of six has turned to an entire career revolutionizing the Rap, Hip-hop, commercial and EDM space.

Fameo is based in Stuttgart, Germany. In the last ten years, he has released, licensed, and published records through Rap & Rhymes, Sony Music, Universal Music, Kontor Records, just to name a few. He has worked with Top-Producers in the dancing arena, such as Stephan Endemann or Alex Christensen on Records like „Steve Modana – To The Top“ or „Good N8 vs. Famoe – Like Johnny Däpp.”

Famoe hit the Official Compilation Charts Internationally for a total of over 70 Weeks. One of the most remarkable collaborations along his career was with Rapper Kurupt for “On my Side.”

What makes this star always shine? Passion. “I always wanted to do what’s within my passion for creating Music the way I wanna express it. Sometimes it’s cool to go with the flow and the mainstream and change the Music with what’s currently working, but sometimes we need to work from the inside out to become something different.” He says.

Famoe understands that nowadays, it is rare to be unique in the music industry. And that is why he has been in the forefront to ensure that he sets a lasting legacy that people will never forget.

In 2006, Famoe finally released his first-ever studio album, “The Italian Stallion.” The album was released with a circulation of around 1,000 compact discs, which coincided with the changing of his stage name.

He is also set to release his upcoming EP called Paradigm featuring TQ & Big Brovaz that he recorded at the Hot Money Studios in the UK produced by Sensuz Beats.

He is also currently working on a Graphic Novel for The Kill Journal that JayMo produced in collaboration with Fatpigeon from the UK (Comic Book created by Adam Lawson and Ari Wiener)
