Driftwood. Is not only an artist but a producer who directs and edits his own music videos. He first emerged into the music scene in 2015 and captivated his audience with his unique sense of contemporary RnB/Soul sound, synchronised with his handcrafted and vivid video productions. Driftwood. Brings heavy street culture that feels influenced by the UK music scene but coming out of Australia. He blurs the lines with tastes of high end street fashion, architecture and an ethereal aesthetic that is more easily experienced than Articulated.
When asked about his music he said ” My work creates a narrative that treads a line between reality and ethereal paradigms within my imagination. I aim for my art to provoke thought and emotion with my listeners by creating an overall aesthetic where the music and visual components work together as one unique artistic piece, in essence creating an online gallery that will stimulate the senses. I don’t believe in describing narratives and storylines but instead prefer the viewers to use their own abstract intelligence to digest and interpret them for themselves.”
