David Ogunnubi aka Extra Releases “Faded”
Currently based in Los Angeles, David Ogunnubi, better known by his stage name Extra, has been making a come-up in the music industry since his humble beginnings as an artist back in college.
Extra recently released an EP titled “Extra Extra Read All About It (Volume 1),” which contains a plethora of different vibes spanning from hard-hitting up-tempo tracks all the way to slow melodic jams. A stand-out track from the EP is “Faded.”
“Faded” begins with a melodic, sample-based instrumental featuring moving 808s and a hard-hitting drum pattern. Extra goes bar for bar in the verses throwing down one-liners as the beat fades in and out. With lyrics about today’s current society, day-to-day business adventures, and life, Extra offers something everyone could connect with.
