Dat Boi Skeet Drops Star-Studded ‘Talk of the Town’

By  |

Dat Boi Skeet out of Las Vegas (by way of Buffalo, NY) dropped his latest project, ‘Talk of the Town’ on Thanksgiving Day.

The 14-track project could be Skeet’s best to date – featuring tight production, gritty street bars, and an impressive list of top-tier features from some of the hottest in the game including Mozzy, Yella Beezy, and Trapboy Freddy. He even managed to get DaBaby featured on the bouncy banger “93” – the animated visual for which premiered on Worldstar Hip Hop.

Talk of the Town’ takes a deeper dive into the life of Skeet and the trials and tribulations he faced throughout his life – giving insight on the type of life he has lived, and also outlining the kind of life he hopes to achieve. The project is a mix and trap beats and gritty street talk – with tracks like “Gang Ties,” “485%” and “V-Live K.O.D.” – while also showcasing a softer side of Skeet on songs like “Men in Blacc” and “No More.” We also get to see this different side on the single “Lonely,” which touches on loss, death, and isolation – especially during the weird times we find ourselves in through 2020.

This project is the follow up to his 2018 project ‘Broke is the Root of All Evil,’ which was well received and just as star-studded with features from none other than Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, YFN Lucci, and Tee Grizzley.

Talk of the Town’ is an excellent outing for Dat Boi Skeet, delivering the hard-hitting tracks and high flying features he’s known for, while also expanding his repertoire and showing off his versatility. Catch the videos for “Gang Ties” and “93” feat DaBaby on WorldStar Hip Hop – and stream the project ‘Talk of the Town’ out now on all platforms.
