Mother of Rapper FBG Duck Asks for Peace, Justice, and No Retaliation

By  |

On Tuesday afternoon Chicago rapper FBG Duck was shot and killed on downtown Chicago’s Gold coast sidewalk. In a press conference on Friday (August 7), his mother LaSheena Weekly took a stand on the area where her son was killed to plead that there be no retaliation from his fans or friends.

“I am here today to ask for peace in the city of Chicago,” Weekly said. “I am asking that his fans, friends of my son, to please not seek retaliation in the death of my son … As his mother, I want to say please put the guns down so that the generation of tomorrow can grow and live a long and healthy life.”

At this moment, it is unknown who did this to the rapper but police reported that two cars, a dark Ford Fusion and a gray Chrysler 300, pulled up and four gunmen jumped out and opened fire.
