Tom Ford’s 22,000-Acre New Mexico ranch gets a $27m price cut

By  |

Celebrated fashion designer and filmmaker Tom Ford has just slashed the sticker-price of his stunning 22,000-acre New Mexico ranch to $48 million.

Owned by Ford since 2001, he first listed his Cerro Pelon Ranch for $75m back in 2016 but, surprisingly, has had no takers. Surprisingly because the vast ranch is set in one of the most visually stunning areas of the American Southwest.

About thirty Hollywood productions have been filmed there, including Silverado, Lonesome Dove, Wild Wild West, 3:10 to Yuma, and Thor. The film set originally constructed on the property for Silverado has been expanded and revised for each succeeding production.

Contrasting the old-fashioned appearance of these sets, the property is also noted for ultramodern houses and facilities.
