Jeff Bezos accuses National Enquirer parent company of ‘blackmail’ over alleged affair

In a Medium post, the Amazon CEO and Washington Post publisher, whose alleged affair was reported on by the National Enquirer, wrote that the Enquirer’s parent company threatened him with the release of embarrassing private photos. “I don’t want personal photos published, but I also won’t participate in their well-known practice of blackmail, political favors, political attacks, and corruption,” Bezos said, referring to American Media Inc., the parent company.
