130,000 Newer Teslas Recalled for Blank Screens

By  |

Tesla is recalling 2021 and 2022 Model S and Model X, as well as the Model 3 and Model Y from 2022. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the center touchscreens may overheat during the fast-charging process, causing the infotainment system to restart or appear blank. The government agency wrote in a May 3 safety report that this “may increase the risk of a collision.” According to the Associated Press, this is the 11th vehicle recall for Tesla since Jan. 27, 2022.
