“I put in so much work and time creating Fully Loaded and now Ride (Till The End). I’m definitely “Next Up.” Between my businesses, Poppin music, and living it up – fans can expect me to continue to bring creativity and hype to music.” -Skootah

After his debut LP Self Made was released in 2020, rapper Skootah established himself as a dedicated rapper who brought a hype, lyrical, rhythmic body of work that continues to make an impact on music culture. Then in the summer of 2022, he released his 18-track sophomore LP titled Fully Loaded. As an independent artist Hailing from Florida, he created momentum and sound that left fans around the globe wanting more.

So it was only right when Skootah joined forces with Lil Kae upon his return home from the military. The two rappers stepped into the recording studio and gave the culture a fresh, new single titled Ride (Till The End).

“Stay out my business/I do what I want and I’m already winning/ Started this s—, imma finish/ These niggas they fake and they steady pretending/ Who you know ballin like Kae?/ Who you know rocking the shiniest chain with an A?/ You know I be doing my thang/ So you already know that these niggas gon hate,” they rap in the hook of their latest track. The mid-tempo Hip Hop track starts out with a piano intro as 808s are interwoven into the fabric of the sound creating a powerful vibe.

It’s a song about the two rappers riding and rapping about the ride or die’s in their lives. The question on the floor is “Are you gonna ride with us until the end or get left?” For Lil Kae and Skootah, they need to know because you’re either with them or against them.

When it was time for Skootah to lay down his track, his delivery and lyrical game were on fire. Known for his powerful stage presence, locs, and high fashion style – Skootah never disappoints either in person or on the microphone.

“Designer junkie I jus might slide in sum Louis V shoes huh/ I be out chasing cake lon even be puttin time in the stu to drop new songs/ I’m having my way befo 20 had 20 my way/ For these Lavins I dropped bout a k/ I’m rolling with Kae f— a b—- tell that h- gimme space/ I aint worried bout s—- b— I’m paid/ Thumbing through racks, wishing I could bring my brother brudda back/ If I could I’d give all this S— back…,” he raps in his verse.
