BBLA 9th Annual Truth Awards Takes Over Fox Soul March 18th

Better Brothers Los Angeles (BBLA) 9th Annual Truth Awards co-presented by Emmy Award-winner Sheryl Lee Ralph, The DIVA Foundation were revealed today by Scott Hamilton, Executive Producer. The 9th Annual Truth Awards will broadcast on Fox Soul Saturday, March 18th, at 5:00 p.m. (PT). Jerrie Johnson (Harlem) was announced as their added host with presenters include Kim Coles (Act Your Age), Terrance Terrell (The Best Man: The Final Chapters), Brandee Evans (P-Valley),Tre’vell Anderson (Entertainment Journalist), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary), Ashlee Marie Preston (Media Personality), and Darnell Moore (Nextflix VP of Inclusion) with an exceptional duet performance by SWV’s Coko Clemons and son, Jayye Michael along with jazz saxophonist, Bryan Thompson. Jerrie joins Claudia Jordan. 

Some of this years honorees are Raven-Symoné (Icon Award), Netflix The Upshaws (Cultural Affirmation Award), Judge Greg Mathis, Greg Mathis Jr. Mathis Family Matters (Family Award), STARZ #TakeTheLead (Corporate Leadership & Diversity Award) and Tabitha Brown (Ally Award).
