Not much is known about the DMV artist. Born in Washington D.C. and residing between Europe and the States, Alxya is making deep international waves for an independent artist.
Her most recent track “praying” is a mixture between RnB and rap. She bobs and flows on the chill beat with a creative melody while still keeping it lyrical. “Praying” is a laid back vibe made for late-night car rides or kickback sessions.
Alxya is “praying for the re-up” in hopes it will fill a void. The singer-songwriter talks fashion and solitude. She touches on the subject of narcissism with a melancholy tone. Despite being withdrawn, she doesn’t want to change it- a song for the pretty loners.
