Empire Records partners with Wakko the Kidd’s WSE Music Group for the release of new single AIRHEADZ!

Wakko the Kidd’s latest offering is a fusion of conviction and positivity featuring none other than Flint Michigan’s Louie Ray.

This year has been anything but straightforward for Wakko; having nearly died from an armed robbery attack just a few months ago. The release of AIRHEADZ’s is of great creative importance to Wakko as it’s the name of Wakko’s cannabis strain as well as it being one of the tracks that he was working on the night he was shot multiple times in what has been now labeled as a follow-home robbery.

One of the reasons Wakko has been able to bounce back from such a serious situation so quickly is by the grace of GOD and due to the number of partnerships and support that he has within the music industry. Perhaps most importantly is his continued work and collaborations with artist such as Rio Da Yung OG, Shad Da God, opening for Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony and many others plus his more recent deal with Empire Records.

Empire is well known within the industry as a great supporter of new Hip-Hop music, famous for breaking acts such as Migos, K-Camp and Rocko. Today Empire distributes records from the newest of artists all the way up to Kendrick Lamar. It is this breadth and scope of knowledge and understanding that has allowed this label to not only support Wakko as a human being but also assist him with his growth as an artist.

Indeed, going forward we can expect so much more from Wakko the Kidd. His soon to be released LP – ‘The Kidd that Did’ has already been booked in and the writing is well under way; and with such life changing experiences having happened to Wakko, if this track is anything to go by then the LP is surely set to be a barnstormer too!
