ZAIA – “Demons on Tuck” (Official Video)

By  |

Ahead of his American Psycho project, set to be released next month, and following the release of his well received single “BMX,” ZAIA delivers the DealtByAce & Brain Tickle Studio-produced visual for “Demons On Tuck.” The mind-bending mini movie syncs perfectly with Tane Runo’s hypnotizing production and leaves nothing to the imagination.

Combining melancholy undertones, the song was created to help listeners navigate their way out of sorrowful situations. “I wrote #DOT for anyone that needs help pulling themselves out of dark spaces; people that help going through bad experiences a little easier,” said the Atlanta native in a statement to the press about the song’s central theme.

Born Isaiah Eastman but better known by his stage name ZAIA, the Atlanta native didn’t discover his passion for music until high school, at which point he realized he could turn his personal thoughts into musical creations. Growing up the lyricist was surrounded by the sound of soul and jazz music as both his parents were avid listeners of the soulful genres. His father was a sports videographer and instilled in ZAIA a lifelong love of photography that has been reflected in his work.

Since 2016, the musical trailblazer has dedicated his life to music and released his debut single “Slow It Down.” The following year, he released his While We Wait EP. Seeking inspiration in creating his own slick signature beats and learning how to stand out in the industry, ZAIA has looked up to heavyweights such as Kanye West, Frank Ocean, and Tyler The Creator. Over the years he’s released captivating records like his breakout single “Blue,” “Very Alone,” and “Jumo” featuring Valee.

His most recent EP, Very Alone has garnered over 23M+ streams on Spotify. Continuing to make waves while giving the masses a mix of R&B and hip-hop, it’s hard to pinpoint one specific genre for the songwriter. Putting himself first and at the forefront of everything he creates, he hopes his work inspires listeners to not stay caged in and to always explore multiple avenues while staying genuine to themselves.
