I’Sis Releases New Single & Video “Ringtone

Today, New Orleans native Isis releases her new single and music video “Ringtone”. The song’s addictive and melodic beat perfectly compliment I’Sis’ smooth and syrupy cadence. An ode to her city, the visual features iconic Southern imagery from horses, to cowboy hats, classic cars and more. With “Ringtone” I’Sis is reintroducing herself to listeners, her undeniable presence shining through on every verse.

“Ringtone” jumpstarts a new era for Isis, coming off the back of her debut project Welcome To My City, released in 2021. The project featured standout tracks like “She On Fire” and “I Need A Hotboy” which began to put Isis on the map as one to watch out of her city. Also in 2021, she signed to Jet Life Recordings, the music collective formed by New Orleans rap savant Curren$y. Later that year she would be featured on the JetLife compilation project Welcome To Jet Life Recordings 2 on “Aint No Love” with Black Cobain and made her Rolling Loud debut at the festival in Miami. Coming off of an incredible year, Isis has been laying the bricks for her new project, which will showcase her musical versatility as she dabbles with a melodic sounds, paired with the brash, unapologetic verses that fans have come to love about her music. As I’Sis gears up for new music, she is ready to further establish her as next up out of New Orleans.
