SportVVS “Pink Roses” (Live)

By  |

To celebrate his Ryan Bevolo produced, known for providing Lil Tecca & YNW Melly Billboard chart-topping instrumentation, standout “Pink Roses” reaching 1M+ streams on Spotify, southern Maryland musician SportVVS drops the live performance visual for the Rock-Hop standout in conjunction with Olympus Projects. Directed by label head Coach Pete and filmed by Kiiru, the genre-bending bullet continues to prepare fans for Sports’ upcoming debut album Sport Mode.

Speaking with DMV-based journalist and influencer Ahmad Davis in a soon-to-be-released interview about his unique style of music, Sport states:

“I feel like I’m just different. Especially coming from the underground scene and being where I’m from. My sound is refreshing because it can’t be boxed in like most artists. Not many people are trying to make real songs anymore. Right now in my career, it’s all about having fun and providing positive vibes, but in the future, my focus will be to take my brand to a whole nother level. When I speak, I want to impact lives. I’m going to be the biggest artist on the planet.”

Raised in a Panamanian household, SportVVS’s culturally diverse upbringing adds to the unique approach he takes when writing songs, often pulling from his Spanish heritage to construct hooks. He broke onto the scene and cemented himself amongst the “New Gen” in 2021. Spearheaded by his Gifts and Curses project, which included collaborations with YungFazo and Cactus Jack signed act Sofaygo, the cohesive body of work capitulated the talented vocalist into a respective lane of his own.

2022 has by far been this Juice Wrld inspired punk rock rapper’s best year since launching in 2018. From headlining his own independent show in Atlanta alongside Xhulooo & OnlyBino to joining BigBabyGucci’s ‘Summer of Revenge Tour’ to recently collaborating with labelmate Zubin on “Heat,” it’s clear Sport is ready for all the success headed his way.

Press play on the live performance video and stream “Pink Roses” on your DSP of choice. Sport Mode is set to be released this Fall!
