Owning an independent record label is no easy feat, and this successful entrepreneur is no stranger to the difficulties associated with finding a trusted label. The Colombian R&B singer notes that acquiring a “deal” or major contract can seem worthwhile, but trust is everything. The essential element that sets this quintessential crew apart as a label is their adamant ideals that with a strong foundation and a diligent team — anything is possible.
It’s from this ideology that Richie Alexander optimistically notes:
“In 5 to 10 years from now, I see myself producing and having the biggest label in music, working with legendary artists, and signing even more GOATS!”
With an alikeness to regal reggaeton stars such as Bad Bunny and J Balvin, this South American hit-maker says that his debut album, Playa Larga, produced by his powerhouse brand, has been a long time coming.
“It feels like it’s been such a journey. I’ve been working on new music for a while now and all those ideas are now coming to life and being able to record, mix and master these songs is a really beautiful feeling. […] My purpose is to touch as many people as I can. To let them know you can literally be what you want to be in this life — no matter where you come from — it’s all possible!”
