Meet Rax: Forthcoming Atlanta-Based Artist and Entrepreneur

By  |

Christopher Raxton is no regular guy, and he creatively plans on showing the world just what exactly he is capable of. Born in Douglasville, GA, the southern native was raised right outside of one of the industry’s biggest markets of Atlanta, GA. His passion for music began in his early childhood, always having been a part of church choirs and avidly singing as he grew up — which eventually turned into rapping later on. As he grew into his adulthood, Christopher Raxton developed a strong sense of autonomy and entrepreneurship, which would later cater to his start as a professional recording artist just earlier on this year. Now musically known as Rax, he realized that the music industry was a business early on in life. Rax giving himself the privilege to become a business professional gave him all the room to drop his first track and take his first passion all the way.

His debut single release is a track called “Zip Tie” featuring Abu Da Don. Since then, Rax has come creatively and calculated with several other singles and collaborations, most popular being his RNB sensation “U&I” and his afrobeats collaboration with KDDO called “Body.” Both tracks have garnered a total of 188,695 streams on Spotify combined, and counting. Rax has been avidly aiming to stay consistent with releases and the expansion of his fanbase, and so far, his first year has been pretty successful.

Rax’s music falls under the umbrellas of both hip-hop and RNB, bringing the perfect upbeat yet calming vibe to his music, with different versatile twists in between. Ready for more collaborations, single and visual releases, and a multitude of quality content, Rax is definitely ready to hit the airwaves. Be sure to follow Rax below:
