Lyrical Young Lo “RED” (VIDEO)

By  |

“RED.” The latest single and visual from Brooklyn-native Lyrical Young Lo. Produced by King Zo, “RED” serves as Lo’s third official release of the year, following up “Dangerous Nights” and “Hard 2 Cry.”

Here’s what the lyricist had to say about his new drop;

“The concept of “RED” comes from a war point of view. Meaning, when conflict happens it usually occurs in harm to each other or even to ourselves. Red resembles blood, the aftermath of harm.. but how I’m using it, is in a artistic standpoint.

“Red is being described as the result of war that occurs with my mind and thoughts. Reminiscing and overthinking play big factors in the reasoning behind the war in my head that results into these emotions on these tracks. That’s what “RED” is… emotions!”

The official video for “RED” was shot in Chinatown, and directed by @wonton.designz — who is currently the most sought-out videographer in New York City today.
