Catch Up With Rising Pop Star Nadia Lando

Nadia Lando is a fast-rising singer and songwriter based out of Los Angeles, CA. She has been making waves in the music industry since she released her breakout single “It’s Not Me, It’s You”. We decided to catch up with Nadia to ask her more about her music, herself, and what projects lie ahead for the future star. 

Describe your sound…

My style of music is pop mixed with a bit of rock, electronic, and hip-hop.

What do you want listeners to get out of your music?

I want them to be entertained and be inspired. 

Are there any rituals you have developed over the years that are helpful to your music making process? 

One is keeping my writing simple. I’m used to writing a lot of lyrics but now with songs being under 3 minutes long, it’s best to remember to keep it simple and use the extra lyrics in another song. When I feel blocked I travel the world and look for inspiration.

Do you create your own music video concepts?

Yes I do. Since I was a child I’ve always been artistic: drawing, painting, and playwriting. I really enjoy the creative aspect when it comes to my music career. 

You have a large following on Instagram. Do you find that is the best way to keep up with your fans? 

Yes, with everything being digital these days I really love being able to keep up with my fans via Instagram, it’s all about the fans that’s why I do this. 

What projects are you working on now?

I’m back in the studio recording a few songs, one is a hip-hop/dance-pop track and I may translate some of my songs to Spanish. 

When is your next release?

My next release should be in October.
