Young Crazy Shares New Video “Suburban Kid”

By  |

VA rapper Young Crazy released the new official video for “Suburban Kid” today. In the Jordan Dunman-directed video, the iced-out burgeoning rap star reflects on his life experiences, pain, loss, and rise to glory—emotions he’s all too familiar with. The poignant track, produced by Moye and Beatman, sets the stage for more music to come from Young Crazy soon.

As Young Crazy sprints through lyrics with great charm, the skittering rhythm gives the music a unique jolt. He includes a catchy melody between the brash and direct verses, rapping, “I’m a suburban kid, black track, suburban kid / Pull up swerving in it.” In the accompanying visual, he can be seen strolling through the suburbs on motorbikes with his crew.

Young Crazy’s last project, Interstate 110, was lauded by fans and critics alike, having garnered over 1 Million streams across streaming platforms. “Suburban Kid” comes after Crazy’s recent visual releases for “BLIT” and “Man Down Freestyle,” which have quickly racked up nearly 100K combined views to date. Meanwhile, standout cuts like “Shell Jumping” featuring Icewear Vezzo and “Yuh Bastard!” became prominent, with the rapper later appearing in Spotify’s FREQUENCY campaign.
