“DJ PRIMETIME “DA FUNCTION” [NEW PROJECT]”

While he has been riding high off of a successful 2021, that found him collaborating with artists like Roc Nation’s Kalan Fr.Fr and Los Angeles sensation 1TakeJay, DJ Primetime is ready for a lot more in 2022.

Making his return with a set of bangers that will be knocking all night at ‘Da Function’ the elusive disc jockey has dropped a brand new 6-track collection that is gravely worthy of a spin at the next function. The classic and recognizable samples on the project tell the listeners one thing; it’s only going to get better.

“Da Function” caters to party-goers all around the world but keeps true to its real L.A. routes with features from artists Tru Carr, GoGettaKb, KINGMOSTWANTED, Sada Baby, Rucci, Zoe Osama, Kenai, ProjeckBabyTwin, K8DO, YellaBoii, and Radio Base.

The release was accompanied by the premier of the official music video for the single “2 THE WALL” featuring RadioBase and YellaBoii “Tha Duke”. The track samples Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz feat. Ying Yang Twins’s “Get Low”.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ronald Powell, known professionally as DJ Primetime, has always been enamored with music since he began playing the drums at the tender age of two years old. Primetime is a DJ and producer who’s best known for his utilization of live music and samples in his creation process.
Inspired by the likes of DJ Khaled, Mustard, Quincy Jones, Pharrell, and Kanye, Primetime prides himself on his use of live instruments and sampling in his production stating that “energy never lies.”
