ABOUT ASIAN DOLL:

Asian Doll, Asian Da Brat, or simply Asian, is a well-known singer, rapper and social media star from Dallas, TX. Asian is the second daughter of four children. She moved around a lot and began rapping while still very young, eventually establishing a time-consuming high-profile career while still in high school. Asian Doll’s first recording dropped in 2015 with her Rise of the Barbie Doll Gang EP and she was the first female artist signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Eskimo Records.

Her musical inspiration comes from experiencing hard times. In an attempt to distance herself from the female rappers using the stage name Doll, Asian changed her name to Asian Da Brat in 2019. The name Asian Da Brat was supposedly a reference to the veteran female rapper from Chicago, Da Brat, whose debut studio album Funkdafied was the first platinum-certified record by a female rapper. Her mother supported her decision to go into music, while her father preferred that she chose a different path that includes getting a formal education.

She gained prominence with her projects, ‘Drippin in Glo’ and ‘Rise of Barbie Doll Gang’. Her project, ‘Kill Bill, Vol.1’, secured a position in the US Billboard. Asian Doll has made headlines for reasons other than music as well. She has also been criticized for her bizarre appearance and preppy outfits. She has earned more than 10 million followers and subscribers on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and Tiktok respectively. She has collaborated with many eminent stars for many of her projects. Nevertheless, she is still an icon for those who are looking to make it big in the world of rap and hip-hop.

Her newest project drops July 22nd, 2022 called Lets do a Drill, where she taps into her Queen of Drill movement, giving her fans 20 profound tracks re-emerging into industry with a fire new sound. She is opening doors for females in the world of Drill music and taking over the game.
