Bay Eight Recording Studios Is a Miami Studio with Global Reach

Miami is known for its fast-paced lifestyle and iconic nightlife. Miami is also known for its melting pot of cultures. Miami’s music scene is also very varied. South Florida, in general, has seen a boom in the proliferation of a ton of music acts such as XXXTentacion (R.I.P.), Lil Pump, and Camila Cabello. Bay Eight Recording Studios, located in Miami’s “Studio City,” has been pivotal in assisting the local music scene and the music scene worldwide.

Bay Eight Recording Studios was founded by Matthew “Formatt” DeFreitas in 2015. The studio has been a Miami staple since then. The music studio caters to artists that make all sorts of music. Since Miami is known for its Hip-Hop/Rap and Latin music scenes, Bay Eight Recording Studios, of course, specializes in those genres of music. However, Bay Eight Recording Studios, unlike many of the other Miami studios, works with Pop and R&B artists, and even Gospel, Indie, Electronic, and Experimental artists/groups as well. If it is music, Bay Eight Recording Studios has it covered.

As previously mentioned, the music acts that Bay Eight Recording Studios has and continues to work with are internationally based and/or known. For instance, some of the clients that Bay Eight Recording Studios has housed are Marc Anthony, Yo Gotti, Ricky Martin, Trey Songz, Ky-Mani Marley, Flo Rida, 2 Chainz, Ozuna, Migos, Major Lazer, Kygo, Leslie Grace, Kodak Black, etc. Bay Eight Recording Studios has also worked with many major record labels directly including, but not limited to, Universal Music Group, Roc Nation, Atlantic Records, Motown Records, and Epic Records.

Not only is Bay Eight Recording Studios dominating the music scene, but the studio also has worked with a plethora of acts, businesses, brands, and production companies, and has provided audiobook recording services and voice-over Automatic Dialogue Replacement (ADR) work for major film production companies. Some of the clients include Katt Williams, Jack Daniels, BBC Radio, VH1, and Fox Sports.

Bay Eight Recording Studios’ efforts have been internationally recognized and have earned the studio gold and platinum plaques, GRAMMY Awards, and more. Bay Eight Recording Studios is currently working on expansion and has plans to open more facilities throughout the nation.
