Thisis50’s Jacina Love Covers Summer Jam 2022
Hot 97 made sure to showcase it’s support in the release of Gunna and Young Thug. Throughout the night, many acts took to the stage to proclaim “Free YSL”; even a video featuring Kevin Liles, Post Malone, London on Da Track, Nav, and G Herbo speaking on the use of Rap lyrics in policing hip-hop artists by the government was shown. Here are our top 3 moments that happened at Summer Jam 2022!
Moment Number 1: Cardi B
Unknown to the crowd, CARDI B jumped out of a sprinter and hit the festival stage! No one had any idea that she would be there! In true celebrity status, a path was created just for her and she ran out just in time to spit her verse!
Moment Number 2: The self-proclaimed King of New York, Fivio brought out Chloe Bailey and she didn’t disappoint!
Moment 3: Kay Slay Tribute! With tribute video narrated by our Boss 50 Cent playing for the crowd, several of DJ Kay Slay’s peers took the stage to illustrate what an impact he had on the culture, including The LOX, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, Juelz Santana, Papoose and Jim Jones.
