Nanu is a bilingual (English and Spanish) singer, songwriter, and rapper based in Toronto. Born Daniela Sofia Bragagnolo to an Argentinian/Italian family in Atlanta, GA and raised in Argentina, she adopted her stage name “Nanu” from a childhood nickname she once despised but now embraces as a symbol of family and love. An artist inspired by many different genres, Nanu’s sound is a fusion of reggaeton, hip-hop, pop, and R&B, embellished with her own uniqueness. Her love for music began as a child when she enrolled in dance, piano, and musical theatre classes. Her natural talent and determination for success led her to land several lead roles with professional theatre companies. Her musical theatre background is responsible for the triple threat she is today. Upon moving to Toronto in 2015, she entered the music scene, quickly rising to popularity with numerous successful singles, music videos, and her iconic social media presence.
