Meet Will Sass, the Indie Pop and Dance Music Artist Paving the Way

By  |

It’s been a wild ride for Will Sass. From DJing to songwriting and music production, he has been on a mission to fully explore his musical capabilities. The NYC native is looking forward to what the future holds for him in the dance and pop industries: paving the way for other independent musicians with big dreams like himself.

As a New Yorker, Will has always been passionate about music. Growing up, he admired the likes of Marshmello, Kygo, The Chainsmokers, and Zedd, who influenced his earlier style of music. By the time he got to high school, Will knew music was the right path for him, so he pursued it. Will DJed throughout high school and proceeded to do it afterward. However, this path also led him to pursue music production. Will began to produce several songs while continuing to play at clubs and festivals.

Will Sass wrote and produced several songs while playing in clubs and at festivals. Over the past few years, he got a few major breaks and shared the stage with some of the music industry’s elite. Some of Will’s achievements include opening for Bakermat at Noto in 2022, attending the Rolling Loud Palm Tree Festival and playing the official after-party for Breakaway Festival in 2021, and opening for Gashi’s pre-Covid tour.

When the pandemic struck, Will pivoted again and tried to make the most out of it. He built a home studio and developed many tracks for his first artistic project during that time. Will Sass is now putting the final touches on this project, which he plans to release within the year. But before that happens, take a listen to his first official remix with Trevor Daniel.
