Music Executive & Artist ThePlaymaker Sticks To Street Methods Of Promo
KB Barell “ThePlaymaker,” known under his stage name as just ThePlaymaker first gained prominence in the late 90’s early 2000’s spearheading promotional campaigns for DJ Quik, Madd Nation, Suga Free, DJ BattleCat, Kokane and the late Mausbergz. Sticking to the old school way of promo, ThePlaymaker does all of his work in the streets. From signs, to blow up bouncy houses, all the way to Billboard’s in time square, what KB is best at is reaching people face to face rather than online.
Using his own marketing methods, the projects that he’s promoted have sold a staggering 24 million units worldwide from 1996 to 2017.
ThePlaymaker also has been working on his career as an artist aside from his promo work. He recently released “50 State Push” which featured vocals from many of the acts that ThePlaymaker works with on the daily.
Aside from working on more music, ThePlaymaker is actively working to build his own companies and is busy in his role as head of marketing at Blackout Ent.
