Steven Malcolm Releases “Summertime” With Snoop Dogg And Jay-Way In New Video

Covered in Death Row Records merchandise, Hip-Hop icon Snoop Dogg, rapper/singer Jay-Way, and Christian Hip-Hop artist Steven Malcolm debut the music video for his new single, “Summertime.” The video is set in sunny Hollywood Hills as the trio watches skaters showcase their moves at a local park to cruising through the streets in a vintage whip. Each artist attacking the beat from different angles. Snoop vividly painting a picture of life on the West Coast, Steven more conflicted with his messages of hope and harsh realities that can immediately rear itself, while Jay-Way anchors the track and creates the anthem.

“This record is all about summertime vibes on the West Coast,” Malcolm, a native of Grand Rapids, Mich., tells VIBE ahead of the single’s release. “I’ve traveled for most of my career and L.A. is by far my favorite. Something about the diverse culture, the sunshine, and the sights blow me away. With this record, I wanted to bring an endless tune that will give people that summertime feeling over and over.”
