DJ Andre is setting the tone for DJS Worldwide

When it comes to experience in the music industry as a whole, or looking at any one of the categories that DJ Andre 905 falls under, it becomes apparent that he is no stranger to the game. From his running list of performance venues including noteworthy arenas across the Toronto Area, to performing with and opening for all-stars, Andre 905 is decorated all around when it comes to his experience in radio and live performances, of all sizes. He now looks forward to a promising music career, having established himself in the music industry as a man of many talents.

DJ Andre 905 has reached new heights since landing larger gigs such as concerts and parties. The list of influential artists he has worked with has only grown in recent years: with names like Tony Matterhorn, Tyga, Drake, Juicy J, Usher, DJ Khaled, YG, The Weeknd, OT Genasis, Fat Joe, and Flo Rida. It’s apparent that Andre captures attention alongside major artists, wherever he goes.

Andre is also the official DJ and host for one of Canada’s #1 College Radio Shows – Momentum On Vibe, which is broadcasted every Wednesday night from 10-12 P.M. EST on Vibe 105.5 FM. Andre 905 also airs another mix show on Vibe 105.5, called the “Late Lunch Mix”, which airs on Mondays from 1 -2 P.M. EST.

Andre has since gotten into the work of sharing the stage with other DJs. It’s allowed him to continue to forge his own path as a producer/artist while still maintaining his DJ roots. In this aspect, he has worked with, once again, many critically acclaimed names in the DJ industry, including but not limited to:

Working to get his name out as a DJ in addition to staying consistent with his goals has enabled Andre to reach higher heights. Leveraging the performances at concerts and more professional venues, Andre was named the official DJ for the Raptors 905, a Toronto-based G-League basketball team. Andre has since deejayed every local Raptors games at the Hershey Centre, as well as any home games the Raptors play at the Air Canada Centre.

What more can a DJ ask for? More ways to learn and grow as a result; as Andre continues to evolve, so do his ambitions. Especially how he views himself in the music industry. Currently he is working as an artist/producer hybrid, fostering his creativity now through making music, instead of mixing classics and deejaying celebrity get-togethers. Andre has made an impressive first impression in the music industry, if his releases are anything to go off on.

Andre’s first official single as an artist was released in December 2020, called “Wasn’t Me”; a future forward callback to Shaggy’s popular “It Wasn’t Me” single. Andre’s first official release of a similar name featured Toronto artists Young Cake and Phab. Soon after, “Wasn’t Me” had over 100,000 streams and was given airtime on several Toronto radio stations such as Flow 93-5, Vibe 105-5, and G98-7.

Seven months later, Andre releases his second official single in July 2021, this time featuring rising Atlanta artist Lil Huncho. His second official single release generated well over 100,000 streams for Andre and was spun in radio stations across Toronto, even leading to overseas spins from UK radio stations such as BBC.
