50 Cent Surprises Super Bowl Fans With Performance of “In The Club”

After Snoop and Dre combined for “The Next Episode” and “California Love” to kick off the halftime show, the both pointed down to show 50 Cent hanging upside down like he did in the opening of his infamous video. The crowd immediately erupted as “In The Club” took over the stadium. Wearing his famous G-unit wife beater, 50 was surrounded by dancers as he continued to hype the fans. It’s no secret that 50 that Shady/Aftermath is heavily responsible for his musical success.

Despite the family affair, Power fans instantly turned their comments to Mary J. Blige who plays Monet. Mary J. Blige took the stage in a custom silver bodysuit and thigh-high boots combination by Peter Dundas. The megastar performed “Family Affair” and “No More Drama” before turning the attention to Kendrick. Twitter instantly erupted with tweets about MJB’s character Monet performance during this historic event. Instantly it went from Mary J and 50 hanging together, to Monet and Kanan.
