By  |

What is your name and what city do you rep?

I go by the name Kobe6’4 & I’m from the south side of Chicago.

Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
I just dropped a hot single called “Mad Hatter” inspired by the mobster, Albert Anastasia. I also dropped an album called “Gone but Never Forgotten” (G.B.N.F). I made that album for my loved ones I’ve lost. So if you lost anybody close and dear to you, you could listen and relate.

What is unique about you and your music?
My music is unique because everybody could relate to it.

What shaped your music?
My passion and how my life is going really molded my music and me as an artist. So all my loyal supporters that listen to me grew with me from when I first dropped. I’m only going to elevate and get better and better.

When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
When I started to see the impact my music had on other people. It’s like I’m the voice of the people that care to get heard but can’t. I express our feelings and show the world insight on what we are all going through from my life situations.

What type of music do you listen to?
I listen to all types of music from Lil Durk, Polo G, G Herbo all the way to Drake, Future, Tory Lanez, and Billie Eilish.

What inspires you to write music?
My love and passion from it as well as the creativity it brings into my life.

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
Business, but I don’t ever see myself not doing music because when I’m not recording in the studio, I’m thinking about or making songs in my head.

Happiness to you is…
Me spending a day in the studio listening to beats while creating new music.

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
Stay consistent, keep working on your craft, and remember it’s 10 percent talent but 90 percent business.

Tell us about your upcoming projects…
I have a few singles dropping this month. Be looking out for, “F.E.B,” “Major,” and “Exotic.” An I might have an album dropping late march.

Where do we find you music / music projects?
You can find my music on all platforms Spotify, Apple Music, sound cloud, YouTube, etc.
