Pierre Bless Is Gearing Up To Give His Fans New Music
In a climate of self-love, meditation, energy and vibes, Pierre Bless creates a smooth entry into the scene and sets a positive mood with his latest hit “What’s Ya Sign.” The familiar bop is sampled from Biggie Smalls’ nostalgic hit, “Big Poppa.” Any woman can relate to the upbeat, catchy tune, which is Pierre’s primary goal-”I want to touch the hearts of every fan to influence them to Spread Love everywhere.” So far “What’s Ya Sign” has attracted the attention of over 250 powerful women influencers who have shared the record to their Instagram stories along with their zodiac, including reality stars Angel Love Davis (iloveangel2) and Juliette “Juju” Castaneda (@iamjuju_). The number of shares is growing organically every day and has even been on several radio shows including The Breakfast Club, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, The Steve Harvey Morning Show and The Sheryl Underwood Radio Morning Show.
The independent artist is preparing for a myriad of projects for the new year. Currently, the music video for “What’s Ya Sign” is in the works. Pierre released a single titled “F.E.A.” ft. DJ Drama in Summer of 2021 with a pending music video. He also plans on taking a break from the studio to engage with his fans with more live performances, having already performed at main stages at SXSW. He opened up for Jacquees, Key Glock, Asian Doll and Toosii in 2021. He’s finishing a National tour, a regional tour and a HBCU college tour in 2021. Tour dates are coming soon.
The North Carolina Native was born in Nuremberg, Germany, but moved back to the states at age 2 and was raised in Albemarle, North Carolina. Pierre started rapping recreationally in the 7th grade. His friends would create beats on the desk while rapping Cash Money lyrics, and Bless would freestyle out of nowhere, using Nas, Jay Z and Mase as some of his inspiration. It wasn’t until winning a talent show at age 15 that he decided to take his musical abilities more seriously. He used the money he won to buy studio equipment. Pierre mentions, “Ever since I started rapping it has become a part of me. I was infatuated with hip hop artists’ lifestyles.” Bless would read through The Source and XXL magazines every month and recorded Rap City The Basement on VHS tapes for every episode. “I studied my favorite musicians very closely and mocked their styles for years to become the artist I am today.”
When asked which artists influence his sound, Pierre mentions Nas, Jay Z and Rick Ross. Nas for his lyrical ability and Jay Z for his beat selection. Pierre makes the focus of his musical message on spreading love, inspired by the Law of Attraction. The lifestyle he represents is even embedded in his artist name, as he views every day as a blessing. “I have a lifestyle brand called “Spread Love Life” which is all about manifesting good energy.”
