Ye Takes Coachella After They Bench Travis Scott

Travis Scott and Frank Ocean were slated to headline Coachella for 2022 but after the tragedy that occurred during his Astroworld festival, the organizers opted to pull Travis from the bill all together and moved Frank Ocean to 2023. Kanye West and Bilie Ellish will now fill those slots for 2022. Kanye hasn’t performed at Coachella in over a decade. With the drama of his impending divorce from Kim Kardashian and the coverage of her new relationship with Pete Davidson, it feels like Kanye is looking to make himself as visible as possible.

Previously, Kanye seemed to be taking a backseat to the limelight while only making necessary appearances with his wife. Ellish is the youngest artist to ever headline the festival at just 20 years old. Fans can’t wait to see what Ye will have in store for us. What we won’t hear is another plea for Kim. Kanye has been spotted around with Julia Fox on double dates with Noreaga and his wife. While we have no idea if the festival take place in person due to COVID, we hoping to catch what looks to be the hottest ticket in town.
