Get To Know Rap Artist Kteeeezy

By  |

I’m Kteeeezy and I represent the city of Winston Salem NC. It made me who I am from the various experiences I’ve been through while growing up and when I lived there. I’m proud to say I’m from Winston Salem. A hustling city for sure, everybody got their own grind, ways to hustle and make things happen.

I’ve listened to a lot of artists coming up and was inspired by their similar stories they would depict in their music. Im going to name 15 to give a rough idea of who I listen to but it’s plenty more. Gucci Mane, Rocko, Drake, Nas , Pimp C , Skippa da Flippa, 2pac, Lil Durk , Chief Keef , Young Dolph, Oj da juice man , Kirko Bangz , J Cole , Lil Wayne , 2Chainz.
My last release was a video to a song I made in August 2020. It was a single off my first mixtape “Just Getting Started Vol 1” called All I’m Saying. Pretty much reiterating to my supporters that I’m human as well. Life happens to us all and we’re all affected in different ways . “You say I changed I say you changed” Thats my perspective on an individual and their perspective on me. I had to take a step back and try to put myself in the other person shoes. To sum it up I want the people that listen to my music to try and be more considerate of other people’s feelings. A conversation could help clear up some concerns or misunderstandings.
I like to tell stories in my music piece by piece in every song and let it be known if I could get through tough times you can too! I like to stand out with making music by rapping or harmonizing on beats that are outside of my signature “Turn up” flow.
I want the people reading this to understand my passion for music and determination to keep going. I love to hear when people tell me that my overall sound has been progressing from the time I got serious to now. That keeps me motivated while I try to bring the songs in my mind to real life.
I’m very appreciative of the opportunity to get interviewed and shed light on not just me but the city of Winston Salem NC and other artists that have a passion for music like me. What’s next? Stay tuned for the Juice x $auce video to drop on YouTube and all streaming platforms real soon!
