Money Lynn Hobson: Renowned Publicist, Author & Entrepreneur

As a publicist with over thirty years experience, Lynn Hobson AKA “Money Lynn”, has participated in several projects that have led to her success. Her love and interest for public relations derived from the book “The Personal Touch: Everything You Need in Today’s Fast Paced Business World” by Terrie Williams. Subsequently, Lynn became an intern for Terrie Williams and was later offered a position as a full time employee at the agency. As a result of her experience, Lynn became the director of publicity at Epic Records two years later. Working in public relations for some of the biggest names in the industry prepared her for the development of her own company, HobbieCom/Money Lynn Enterprises.

In addition to being an entrepreneur, Lynn is also a distinguished author. The release of her book, “Diary of a Hip-Hop Publicist” details her life as a publicist in the entertainment industry. This publication is available on Amazon, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and other prominent stores. Lynn describes this as her biggest accomplishment thus far. Throughout the duration of her career, Lynn has also grown an interest in seeing other businesses thrive. Her most recent project titled, “Money Lynn Pop Up Shop & Expo” has assisted businesses in gaining visibility, clientele, and profits. Lynn now has over 200 vendors in attendance at her events. Some of the industry’s biggest names have attended the events such as, Chrissy Monroe, Ms. Moe Money, and Mariah Lynn, from the “Love & Hip Hop” series. Celebrities from “Black Ink Crew” have also supported Money Lynn’s business venture including Ella Bands, Donna, and Alex. Due to the pandemic, the desire for pop up shops has grown significantly and Money Lynn has achieved yet another goal on her list. She plans to expand her pop up shop & expo business and is also gearing up to release the audiobook for “Diary of a Hip-Hop Publicist”.

As an advocate for domestic violence survivors, Lynn has also created the “Black & Blue Foundation” and organizes events and activities during the month of October to shine light on the ongoing issues within abusive relationships. Money Lynn Hobson makes it evident that a woman can wear many hats and inspire others to live their dreams.
