B. Lamont Is Starting the Convo about PTSD with his Latest Single!

Indie artist & producer B. Lamont is breaking the PTSD stigma through his organic lyrics and classic beats. He released his highly anticipated single “PTSD” produced by Skool. In support of mental health awareness, B. Lamont vocalize his concern through one avenue we all relate to, music. B. Lamont reflect on topics of young African American men being traumatized from growing up in poverty and the rise of PTSD amongst communities. “I used to think that people in the service only go through PTSD, but there’re so many people going through it.” stated B. Lamont. Having to overcome life challenges, the California native was faced with feeling alone and decided to become an advocate for others dealing with similar issues. B. Lamont utilizes his music to connect the dots for others channeling trials and tribulations without a voice for themselves.

B. Lamont began trailblazing through the music industry at the age of 12, straight out of Paramount, Ca. From performing at the “After Church” event curated by DJ SoCal and Mars of 1500 or Nothing, to long hours in the studio whipping up catchy and longevity music, B. Lamont has been captivating his time with his craft.
