New Visual – Chidi Bangz Turns All The Way Up in “It’s Up Now”
Chidi Bangz is a Nigerian Hip-Hop/Afrobeats artist and his drill beat-infused single “It’s Up” is certain to have anyone who hears it wanting to be just as hype and flex just as hard as he does.
While Chidi would start out his life growing up in South Jamaica Queens, New York he began living a lifestyle that landed him into a lot of trouble and ultimately resulted in his mother moving him to Lagos, Nigeria where his family was originally from. The move gave him not only a real chance at turning his life around but also the opportunity to be fully immersed in his culture. Upon moving back to New York after some time, Chidi began to surround himself with members of G-Unit, studying the way they worked in the studio and their presence on stage. It would be these relationships and experiences that would influence his sound and how he moves as an artist.
Differing from his last release “Rock With You” which features Afrobeats artist DotMan, “It’s Up Now” showcases his New York sound and allows him to brag on himself and lets people know that he’s finally “touched down and it’s up now.”
The visual for “It’s Up Now” showcases what exactly he means by this as video watchers are shown scenes of him in a Versace robe with a few pretty ladies in his uptown apartment, him getting hype in the studio and then taken to the club where he and his crew turn up around plenty of liquor, money and more beautiful women. As if Chidi couldn’t flex any harder, he is also sure to show off his all white Bentley coupe.
“It’s Up” is the perfect summer jam to have in rotation when it’s time to turn up!
