Far Rockaway Veteran Keen Streetz Releases New Project ‘Street Gospel’ featuring Vado & Jim Jones

Keen Streetz is an underrated, seasoned emcee out of Far Rockaway, Queens with a brand new project out titled Street Gospel.

Keen Streetz is the definition of a rapper’s rapper, and Street Gospel is a rapper’s album – a well executed display of tight classic production, slick bars, and gritty NYC street talk right out of hip hop’s golden era. As such, it was only right that he enlist verses from New York hip hop legends like Vado on “What U Really Doin” and Jim Jones on “Wraith Talk”. The release of Street Gospel also comes with the announcement that Keen Streetz has a new partnership with the certified Harlem legend, Jim Jones’ Byrd Gang 2.0 – and they are currently working on the Byrd Gang 2.0 album.

Over the last several years, Keen Steetz has developed a reputation as a well respected local legend and talented artist with a gritty NYC sound. Starting with the release of his first project in 2014 during Hurricane Sandy, Keen began to build momentum and by 2009- around the release of his project ‘Family To Feed Vol. 1’ – had developed a serious buzz, performing at venues like Webster Hall and moving around with the likes of Cassidy and the red-hot GS9 crew. ‘Family To Feed Vol. 1’ prominently featured Keen’s second Rowdy Rebel collab with the track “Never Slip” – and even received a shoutout from Bobby Shmurda himself at the height of the GS9 wave during his 2017 appearance on the Breakfast Club. Since then, Keen Streetz has gone on to drop ‘Family To Feed’ 2 & 3  and ‘Better Late Than Never’ Volumes 1 & 2 – with notable features from Dave East, Tony Collins, Kiing Shooter (RIP), Neek Bucks and more.

Now in 2021, Keen is back with a new project and that same gritty Queens energy with ‘Street Gospel’. Early standouts from the project are tracks like “Purpose” and “Wanna Be Right” feat. Tony Collins – and as usual Keen has enlisted two of the toughest talking New York emcees with Jim Jones on “Wraith Talk” and Vado on “What U Really Doin”.

Overall Keen is a talented, respected New York emcee with a lot to offer – and between his new project and his new situation with Jim Jones’ Byrd Gang 2.0 you can expect to see a lot more of Keen Streetz in 2021.
