What’s your name ?
“Johnny Brown.”
Where are you from?
“Born in Austin Texas, but I grew up in the DMV.”
When did you start making music?
“I started making music when I was 12, messing around in garage bands and writing songs.”
Where can we find you mostly, in the studio or in the club?
“Mostly at home writing, in my room, the backyard, the porch, or taking long drives. I probably get the best inspiration driving around just vibing, I can literally do it for hours.”
Who is your childhood hero?
“I never found a hero as a child, I just wrote about what I thought a hero should be.”
What’s the best way for someone reading this to find you on social media, what’s your main platform?
“I’m on Twitter @hollywoodbrown_ and my Instagram is @officialjohnnybrown_ I’m starting to use them both more frequently now.”
Do you have anything to share with the fans, any hints on new songs or collaborations?
“I’m dropping a music video in June and some singles for a tape I’m rolling out this summer, it’s going to be something real. I only have a couple of songs to finish before the whole thing is ready to go but I appreciate everybody that is tuning in before then. I have my own sound and this is definitely going to raise the bar.”
