What is your name and what city do you rep?
TRIIPY36, IM FROM MIAMI DADE COUNTY! THE COCAINE CAPITAL AKA THE DIRTY SOUTH!

Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
MY LATEST RELEASE WAS “ARAB KID” A PROJECT I PUT TOGETHER TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT I AM EGYPTIAN AND TO INSPIRE OTHER PEOPLE FROM OTHER NATIONALITIES TO FOLLOW THEIR DREAMS

What is unique about you and your music?
THE UNIQUE PART ABOUT ME AND MY MUSIC IS THAT I AM THE ONLY EGYPTIAN RAPPER IN FLORIDA AND PROBABLY THE WHOLE RAP GAME, BUT I ALSO GOT THAT YOUNG “PITBULL” RAP FLOW

What shaped your music?
EARLY TO MID 2000’S SHAPED MY MUSIC. I GOT MY STYLE FROM A LITTLE BIT OF LIL WAYNE, PITBULL, 50 CENT, MIKE JONES AND JUICY J
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
IVE BEEN FREESTYLING AND WRITING MUSIC SINCE I WAS 9 YEARS OLD FOR FUN AND I STARTED TAKING IT SERIOUS WHEN I TURNED 18 AND KEPT GETTING IN LEGAL TROUBLE AND COULDNT STAY OUT THE STREETS

What type of music do you listen to?
I LISTEN TO ANY AND EVERY MUSIC GENRE. I LOVE TO LISTEN TO EVERY SOUND AND INSTRUMENT IN THE SONGS TO LEARN FROM THEM AND MAYBE USE THEM FOR MYSELF, OR GET AN IDEA FROM THEM AND JUST LEARN MORE ABOUT MUSIC.

What inspires you to write music?
LIL WAYNE INSPIRED ME TO RAP FROM THE HEART AND THE MIND. I DONT WRITE MUSIC ANYMORE. I FREESTYLE ALL MY SONGS AND THATS THE REASON WHY MY MUSIC IS AT THE LEVEL ITS AT BECAUSE IT SOUNDS SO NATURAL AND PEOPLE FEEL ME MORE WHEN I RAP LYRICS ABOUT MY REAL LIFE.

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
OUTSIDE OF MUSIC I LOVE PLAYING AND WATCHING BASKETBALL. IVE BEEN PLAYING SINCE I WAS A KID. STREET BALL AND ORGANIZED BALL AS WELL. NOT FOR NOTHING, BUT ILL BALL QUAVO UP AND TAKE HIS SPOT FOR THE BEST RAPPER BALL PLAYER!

Happiness to you is…
HAPPINESS TO ME IS SECURITY. NOT LIVING CHECK TO CHECK OR BILL TO BILL. HAVING A SECURED ROOF OVER MY HEAD, MONEY IN THE BANK AND MY PEOPLE GOOD WITH NO WORRIES.

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
I WISH I WAS TOLD THAT BEING UNIQUE IS OK. AS A KID GROWING UP MAKING MUSIC I THOUGHT BEING UNIQUE WAS BAD AND I HAD TO COPY SOMEONE ELSE TO ACTUALLY BE LIKED OR LISTENED TO. THAT IS FALSE. BEING UNIQUE WILL TAKE YOU A LONG LONG WAY.

Tell us about your upcoming projects…
MY UPCOMING PROJECT IS DEFINITELY DIFFERENT FROM MY LAST ONE BECAUSE THIS ONE IS MORE SINGING BUT STILL HAS THOSE JAW DROPPING PUNCH LINES.

Where do we find you music / music projects?
MY MUSIC COULD BE FOUND ON ALL MAJOR MUSIC PLATFORMS AND IF YOU WANT EXCLUSIVE PREVIEWS OF MY UNRELEASED MUSIC YOU COULD FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM @triipy36
