Scrapp DeLeon spits the real on new booming single “No Lie”
Hip-hop artist Scrapp DeLeon has the streets buzzing over the heat dropped in his new single “No Lie.”
Scrapp DeLeon has been on his come up in the Atlanta scene since the early 2000’s. Together with his brother Sas and cousin, Dolla (RIP) they formed the rap trio “Da Razkalz Cru.” As their notoriety expanded, they worked alongside major players like Diddy, Missy Elliot, BattleCat, Akon and Jazzie Pha as well as toured with the hip-hop group B2K.
Da Razkalz Cru would go their separate ways in time, which allowed DeLeon to place all his focus on his solo career. This brought several benefits to the rising rap star. He would go on to be featured in 2010’s “The World Is Mine” off Lloyd’s album, Southern Xposure 8, and landed a recurring, then main, cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. With the spotlight shining his way, DeLeon took the moment to display his talents to the world with his brother SAS as his manager.
After using his new level of status to work on prison reform among artists like T.I. who partnered with him to post bail for 23 persons for Easter 2019, DeLeon has become even more popular in the music industry. He continues to use his personal experiences behind bars to act as an advocate for change, speaking on panels alongside prominent activists including Cyntoia Brown on the importance of helping those released from prison transition back into the workforce.
While DeLeon was elevating the streets, he was plotting the release of his new single “No Lie” and with the arrival of his birthday, the world got to hear the Mykemadedetbeat produced banger. The track marks the beginning of a new chapter in the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star’s career as he gears up to dominate the charts moving forward. It’s a blessing for DeLeon to endure through his trials and now rise to the level of fame his grind has attained. He has been feeding the industry with fire and has given fans exactly what they wanted in the form of his new single “No Lie” and energetic performances in his city during NBA All-Star Weekend.
