Many rappers have been coming out on the rap scene due to the recent lockdown. While many who enter don’t come with talent, Highlyte begins his journey light years ahead of beginning artists.
His “BOOMING” single says it all when talking about the new rappers’ skills. Highlyte comes in with a catchy, repetitive chorus showcasing the rapper’s songwriting abilities. Not only this, but Highlyte raps like a veteran as he switches his flow every 8-16 bars.
All in all, Highlyte’s performance on “BOOMING” answered any critics’ questions asking if the rapper will have a future in the music industry. This single puts Highlyte in a skill class of the elites compared to Drake or even Jay-Z.
